Loved, loved, loved that book when I read it as child!! It really was informative about the whole menstruation-thing as well as friendships.

I didn't realize it was such a controversial book until I got older.

Good thing I had a bike and could ride to the library on my own (or with kid sisters) and check out whatever I wanted.

It's okay...I can totally relate.
I still can't finish the book Charlotte's Web. I know what happens so I just stop a few pages from the end. We even had to read it in one of my classes in college, and I had to get up and leave the room when we go to the final chapter because I didn't want everyone to catch me sobbing like a baby!
